Wandsworth BID provides a collective voice for the town centre’s business community, playing a vital role in the enhancement of the area to preserve and accentuate its uniqueness as a destination.
We want to help local businesses to meet and trade with each other, and keep them up to date with major changes that will affect them, such as TFL’s plans to transform the one-way system in Wandsworth Town centre and the regeneration work at the Ram Brewery site. Wandsworth Town BID will work with Wandsworth Council and all relevant bodies to drive more investment into the area for future improvements to streets and public spaces to complement existing and new developments.
Creating a Common Vision The Wandsworth Town BID team regularly attend meetings with all major stakeholders to give input into the vision for the area and will continue to develop our relationships with our business networks; the Metropolitan Police; Wandsworth Council; the local community and our residents to share information and better understand the collective challenges and resolve issues saving you time and the frustration of doing this in isolation.
Ahead of the Curve We’re both passionate and committed to delivering on the aims and objectives set out in the BID business plan (include link to plan if possible) and are adapting and learning to meet the new and unprecedented challenges that lay ahead. We want to help our businesses to benefit in the face of the ever-changing and increasingly competitive business, office and retail landscape and the opportunities it brings.
A Strong Network We aim to build a strong business network in the town centre to help existing businesses flourish and bring new and successful businesses into the Town. We regularly send out emails and newsletters to all our Town centre businesses as well as our residents and we would be happy to promote anything you wanted to offer. Just get in touch!
